ABOUT

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

At the forefront of my therapy practice is the belief that the therapeutic relationship is fundamental to a good outcome. I strive to provide a professional service that is warm and friendly where you will feel heard, understood and accepted; a place where you feel safe to explore sensitive and sometimes painful issues.

The psychological therapy I provide will be tailored to your individual situation and needs. As a clinical psychologist this will be based on a comprehensive assessment, and using evidence-based therapies that work. I am committed to continual education, training and supervision to ensure you receive the highest standard of therapy. I believe in using a thoughtfully integrated approach with expertise in several psychotherapies:

The aim of my integrated approach is to enable you to commit to action towards living a rich and meaningful life, while simultaneously acquiring skills to handle any painful emotions and associated thoughts that inevitably turn up in life, such as sadness, fear, rejection, worry, loss, anger, disappointment and failure. Depending on our joint understanding of the issues, together with your own preferences and goals, this may be either a brief or longer term approach.
